“ Located near the Piazza Navona, Hostaria I Fratellini offers great authentic Italian meals at good prices. Started with the Prosciutto e Melone for the appetizer, followed by pizza, Diavola and Capricciosa. Everything was delicious including the bread. This place filled up quickly during lunch, so hopefully you arrive when it’s not busy. It’s adjacent to a busy street so if you’re seated outside, it can be loud; you’ll still be able to carry on a conversation. ”

Our tour guide, a Rome native, happened to be enjoying a cappuccino there and casually mentioned she knew the owners. That was all the reassurance we needed to give it a try and we’re so glad we did! This charming spot offers a peaceful break from the busyness of the square, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The staff couldn’t have been more kind or attentive, they even offered our nieces a complimentary glass of Prosecco to celebrate their first trip to Italy, which made the experience even more special. I highly recommend the Supplì, I loved it so much I ordered it on both visits. The Buffalo Mozzarella Salad was incredibly fresh and flavorful, and both the Cacio e Pepe and Fettuccine ai Porcini were beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious. If you're visiting Rome and want to enjoy an authentic, delicious meal just steps from the Piazza without the usual tourist bustle, Hostaria I Fratellini is a charming and unexpected find, well worth recommending! ”
